Initial LFDCS Results
The narrow band Southern California call library that is currently used on buoys in the Santa Barbara Channel was used on several ADRIFT datasets that have been manually scanned for blues and fins and one ADRIFT dataset that had an AI model applied to it (see Fin Whale AI in ADRIFT report).
The clnb_gomlf_blue call library was also initially tested on these drifts. Based on a simple comparison between the clnb_gomlf_blue call library and the manually validated data, it was clear that this library was not appropriate for our data. The following results are from the clnb_socal which includes blue whale (D call, B call tone, B call downsweep, 5 second tone, & A call) and fin whale (20-Hz pulse call) calls.

This drift was chosen because it had the highest percentage of presence hours for blue and fin whales out of the ADRIFT dataset (see ADRIFT Summary above)
